PEUGEOT has renewed its breakdown and recovery contract with the AA in a deal which could see the organisation providing roadside assistance to Peugeot buyers into the next century. The deal extends the AA's existing relationship with Peugeot for a further three years and maintains the organisation's share of the manufacturer breakdown and recovery market.

The Peugeot contract maintains the AA's position as supplier of breakdown and recovery services to 16 manufacturers, giving it a 42.7% slice of the market compared with the RAC's 13 manufacturers but larger market share of 48%. AA patrol personnel will be attending a series of focus days at the manufacturer's Coventry plant to update themselves on recent progress across the Peugeot range and test drive their latest models.
