NISSAN'S version of 'It's a Knock-Out' has raised £5,000 for charity while providing an entertaining day for key customers. This was the fourth Nissan Fleet Contract Hire and Leasing Charity Challenge and the event took place at Weston Park, near Telford.

All 16 of the UK's leading contract hire and leasing companies took part, each paying £250. Nissan added another £1,000. Games included a 'death slide escape' down a 300 foot cable across a lake and crossing a swaying rope bridge. The finale involved building a canoe from laminated cardboard and paddling across the lake.

This year's winners were Lease Plan, whose nominated charity, the Thames Valley Hospice, was awarded £5,000. Since 1992 the annual event has raised over £20,000 for various charities.
