Bristol Street group instals £3.3m Translease system

DEALER group Bristol Street is to integrate its franchised network via a new £3.3 million computer installation which will include the ability to trade electronically on AT&T's Translease system. Bristol Street's 30 dealerships will all be live on the Kerridge-supplied system inside 18 months.

Director of business development at Bristol Street, Paul Browning, said Translease capability was instrumental in the group's decision to install the new system because of its future importance to fleet operators. All used car stock will be accessible by all dealerships via the new system and will also be comprehensively listed on Bristol Street's Internet site. Kerridge will manage the system and a dedicated team will supervise the roll-out.
