SISTER companies British Sugar and animal feed supplier ABN have appointed BCH Vehicle Management to handle their newly-combined fleet of 600 cars. The mixed-badge vehicles will still be owned by British Sugar and ABN, but areas, including vehicle maintenance, acquisitions and disposals, accident management and fuel cards, will be handled by BCH.

The companies previously used separate fleet management suppliers. The decision to combine was taken in order to maximise buying power and to enable the companies to use one supplier. BCH is preparing a new car entitlement policy and bespoke driver literature has been introduced for employees. Drivers now deal directly with BCH for day-to-day fleet issues and BCH's daily rental service Auto Rental will be available.
