Alamo limos go for Securicor Datatrak system

SECURICOR Datatrak's mobile data communications system is being installed in 55 cars and limousines in Alamo Rent A Car's London chauffeur fleet. The vehicle monitoring system will work alongside Fleetway fleet management software to provide information on the precise position of every car at all times.

Alamo Chauffeur Service UK controllers at the Bayswater headquarters will be able to take immediate action if clients' needs change, improving vehicle dispatch efficiency and response times and allowing drivers to be given detailed directions.

Chauffeur services are proving to be one of the fastest-growing areas of Alamo's activities as the company establishes ties with organisations around the world. In London the fleet includes Jaguars, Mercedes, Daimler limousines, Toyota Previas and Vauxhall Omega Elites.
