A RECORD total of more than 26,000 fleet managers and fleet decision makers have pre-registered to attend the 1997 Fleet Motor Show at Silverstone which opens on Tuesday (April 29) for four days. A total of 150 companies - 127 service companies and 23 vehicle makers - are exhibiting at the 15th show which will be opened on the first day at 10.45am on the Renault stand by Peter Agar, deputy director general of the Confederation of British Industry.

The final batch of tickets to people who have pre-registered were sent out on Tuesday. However, it is still not too late to attend the show as the special registration telephone hotline (0181 390 0203) will remain open until next Friday (May 2) with visitors taking advantage of the last-minute opportunity able to collect their entry tickets at the show.
