DFG profits rise

THE Dutton-Forshaw Group, which includes Masterdrive Contract Hire and Leasing and dealerships, saw a £1 million increase in operating profits to £6 million in the half year to March 31 after a 12% increase in new car sales.

When the Lonrho subsidiary's results were announced on Monday, there was no news on plans to float the Group, although the company said plans were at an advanced stage for expansion.
