Fuel prices are up again after Budget

FUEL prices rose fractionally last month and they will continue to rise as a result of the 4p a litre/18.2p a gallon rise in fuel excise duties in the Budget earlier this month, according to the latest monthly pump price report from PHH AllStar.

The latest PHH AllStar report based on more than 750,000 transactions by 650,000 drivers reveals: diesel - lowest Glasgow 57.46p a litre/261.23p a gallon, highest Aberystwyth 64.57p/293.53p; unleaded - lowest Glasgow 57.36p/260.75p, highest Aberystwyth 63.23p/287.44p; four star - lowest Glasgow 63.18p/287.21p, highest Dover 67.98p/309.03p.
