Honda Finance gears up for fleet action

HONDA Finance, the Japanese company's European finance company, is gearing up to back fleets with the next phase of its development. Next April the company, launched a year ago, will begin its retail finance operation which will provide a range of funding initiatives for corporate and retail customers through the Honda dealer network, giving it a platform for further expanding Honda's market share. Since April Honda Finance has been offering stocking finance to all UK Honda dealers.

Regional and area operations managers as well as a head office-based marketing project manager are currently being sought.

Honda Finance is based in Langley, Berkshire and has appointed Lloyds Bowmaker as service provider to support the administration of Honda finance programmes in the UK. Until Honda Finance Europe assumes responsibility for retail finance in April, Chartered Trust will continue to provide the service on Honda's behalf.
