ALL new Vauxhall Omegas fitted with the congestion warning system Trafficmaster Oracle will benefit from two years' additional free air time if registered before January 31, 1999. This represents a saving of £48 over the second and third years of an Omega's life. Vauxhall has historically provided the first year's Trafficmaster air time for free, but customers have then had to subscribe to Trafficmaster for a fee of £24 per year.

Keith Michaels, Vauxhall fleet marketing manager, said: 'By providing live, accurate, location-specific information on the traffic conditions ahead, Trafficmaster Oracle can help you plan your journey more effectively. Indeed, research among existing Trafficmaster users shows that journey times are reduced by an average of two hours per week. Business productivity is improved. Stress levels are reduced and driver confidence is higher, thanks to a better knowledge of what is ahead.'

Trafficmaster is fitted as standard to the Omega GLS, CD, Reflection and Tourer, and available on the CDX and MV6, but not on Elite models.
