CALOR Gas has won the Institute of Transport Management's 1997 Award for Excellence for Environmental Fuels. The award recognises companies and products which have made a contribution to more environmentally-aware transport systems.

Keith Power, Calor Gas' general manager, automotive, said: 'We are delighted to receive this award which recognises not only what we have already achieved, but also what we hope to achieve.' Calor has committed to open 25 public refuelling stations within the M25 by the autumn.
