LEX Vehicle Leasing has supplied 300 cars, vans and minibuses to Primary Management (Aldershot), which supplies a transport service to the Aldershot Garrison - the 'home of the British Army'. Under the Government's competing for quality initiative, the deal is part of a complete facilities management contract that supports the Aldershot Garrison providing cleaning, catering, property management stores, distribution, primary medical care and administrative transport.

The contract was secured after Primary Management (Aldershot) won a tender with the Army competing against other consortium companies. As the sole supplier of vehicles in support of the contract, Lex Vehicle Leasing will provide Corsas, Astras, Vectras and LDV vans and minibuses. All contracts are based over five years on a fully maintained basis.

The new arrangement supports a contract won by a consortium where Lex Vehicle Leasing's sister company, Lex Transfleet, provides all administrative support to MoD personnel at the garrison and a further 13 garrisons in six countries.
