A THIRD major contract in two days left Daewoo fleet executives cock-a-hoop at the Fleet Motor Show. After securing two orders worth £5.7 million on the first day of the Donington event, the company celebrated day two by shaking hands on another deal worth in excess of £2 million.

National fleet manager Stewart Wright said as Tailored Vehicle Finance signed up to take 200 cars into its Cambridge-based fleet: 'We have exceeded our expectations from this event by a long way and we're very happy. I think our growth in the last 12 months, our latest models and the new residual value programme have all combined to make customers regard us as a real contender.'

Wright added: 'I'm particularly pleased that while two of our Fleet Motor Show contracts are conquests, one follows a previous order and therefore represents confirmation that our product does the job.'
