Vardy in £5.5 million acquisition move

REG Vardy, the fast-expanding motor group, has agreed a £5.5 million deal to buy four new dealerships. The agreement follows hot on the heels of the firm's acquisition of Trust Motor Group as it aims to push its turnover through the £1 billion barrier.

Sunderland-based Reg Vardy purchased the independent dealerships in Falkirk, Leeds, Wolverhampton and Woburn, swelling the company's personnel ranks to 3,500 and adding its first Land Rover dealerships.
