A CLOSED sale of more than 200 Peugeots at ICA Bristol achieved a 100% conversion rate and saw many vehicles achieving more than their CAP clean price. The sale featured 224 ex-contract hire, daily rental and management cars, ranging from 10,000 to 45,000 miles. A total of 48 dealers from the Lion used cars network took part in the auction.

Prices included £14,350, or 105.1% CAP clean, for a 97P 306 2-litre GTi six-speed with 10,305 miles on the clock and £4,350 (117.6% CAP clean) for a 95M 205 1.8D Inca three-door, which had covered 17,416 miles.

A 96P 306 1.9D Turbo three-door with 28,538 recorded miles fetched £9,200, or 108.6% CAP clean, and a 95M 306 1.8XT Auto five-door hatch, on 28,500 miles, brought in £6,900, or 110% CAP clean.

Geoff Benney, Peugeot's manager of company and used vehicle operations, said: 'In spite of the recent bad press about the state of the market and the decline in residual values, we managed to have an extremely good sale, particularly for the traditionally slow month of July.'
