Fire brigade buys electric 106

AVON Fire Brigade has bought a Peugeot 106 Electric for use by its events and promotions team in Bristol. £5,000 of its £11,500 cost was granted by the Energy Saving Trust.

The car is expected to be on the brigade's 65-vehicle fleet for seven years. Batteries are leased through Templegate Peugeot of Bristol.
