THE Rover 45 - the facelifted 400 - has made its world debut. The car was unveiled along with the 25, a revised version of the 200, at the London Motor Show just two weeks after Rover revealed its first images of the new cars, although detailed pictures of the 45 were not released.

Each car shares design features first seen in the 75 saloon launched earlier this year, as well as refined electronics and engines and revised interiors. The 25 is due to go on sale November and the 45 in January. Prices are set to be announced after the show and detailed information on the 45's specification closer to the launch date.

However, both vehicles look set to follow their 'big brother' the 75 in having three-year warranty cover. The saloon 75 was introduced with the cover - which is made up of one-year manufacturer and two years' dealer-backed offer - on its launch in June and the MGF 2000 model year range on sale now, and all Land Rover products come with this warranty. In addition all BMW cars come with a three-year manufacturer/dealer warranty.
