BMW convertible breaks cover

A NEW BMW 3-series convertible isdue to go on sale in the UK in spring 2000. The launch model - the 323Ci Convertible powered by a 2.5-litre 170bhp engine - will be followed by later versions.

The convertible is based on the 3-series coupe launched in June and joins the saloon (launched in September last year) and the new Touring launched this month in the 3-series range.
