Train your drivers for just £1 a week

FLEETS can train their drivers for as little as £1 per week thanks to a new agreement between BSM Fleet Training and BCH Vehicle Management. The Bristol-based contract hire and fleet management firm will give its customers the opportunity to include fleet risk management consultancy and driver training costs in monthly lease rentals.

'This means that for as little as £1 a week, safety is affordable for fleets of all sizes,' said Chris Reynolds, managing director of BSM Fleet Training. The defensive driver training will work in tandem with a joint BCH-BSM initiative which includes a 'Fleet Safety Assessment Manual' for customers running up to 100 vehicles, and the availability of a specialist consultant for larger fleets to carry out a 'Fleet Healthcheck' - a half-day review of risk management systems and procedures.
