CITROEN has renewed its three-year solus contract to supply the Civil Aviation Authority and National Air Traffic Services' fleet of more than 600 cars. In total 300 Xantia and 300 Xsara models are to make up the core of the contract hire agreement.

The nationwide deal encompasses all 'air side' vehicles within the grounds of all national and most regional airports, plus 'business side' vehicles run by office staff, air traffic controllers, electronics specialists and other CAA representatives. An additional part of the deal, via Citroen Contract Motoring, includes driver awareness training for 400 CAA personnel through Citroen's link with DriveTech Driver Training at the Transport Research Laboratory, Crowthorne, Berks.
