TOAD has awarded a solus contract to Renault for the supply of its entire van fleet, ending a three-year relationship with Vauxhall. The security and car audio company has placed an order with Epsom-based Wilson's Motor Group for 100 diesel Renault Kangoo vans to replace the existing fleet of Corsa vans over the next six months.

Autolease, a supplier to Toad for the last three years, handled the deal and the new vans will also be on a three year contract, with an annual allowance of 30,000 miles. The switch to Kangoo came after Autolease carried out research into the small van market, which identified the Renault van as best suiting the company's needs.

Paul Grimond, commercial director of Toad Innovations, said the Kangoo met the requirements of load space, driveability and costs.
