Octavia makes 70% of new price on debut

SKODA'S Octavia has made its debut with CMA at a closed auction for franchised dealers which saw a 100% conversion rate on the 135 vehicles offered, including Favorits and Felicias. The Octavias, which had a mileage between 6,000 and 8,000, averaged a 70% residual value and achieved 104.7% of reserve value.

Most of the models were under six months old, with the hatchback Octavia launched in June of last year and soon after the estate followed in September. Examples of Octavia prices from the sale include £11,100 for a 1.9 SLXi TDI hatchback, £10,050 for a GLX TDI, £11,550 for a 1.8 SLXi 20-valve estate and £11,150 for a 1.9 GLXi TDI estate.
