Carol Smillie to host Fleet Awards

THE sell-out 1999 Fleet News Awards will be hosted by popular television presenter Carol Smillie. The fleet night of the year when 24 fleet industry 'Oscars' will be presented to fleet managers, fleet industry suppliers and vehicle manufacturers takes place on Wednesday, March 17 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

More than 1,000 people will be at the event which will be compered by Smillie, who is best known for hosting 'The National Lottery' on BBC1 and 'Changing Rooms' on BBC2. In the past she has had her own television show 'Smillie's People' on BBC1.
