CITROEN'S Xsara has joined the Xantia and Saxo with a price cut on many models coupled with improved specification. The Xsara now offers ABS braking as standard on all models, previously a £420 option, and this month's price list reveals a drop for many models.

This comes just a short time after Citroen slashed the prices of the Xantia and Saxo by between £365 and £1,185, and also improved its specification in an attempt to improve its competitiveness in the market. Similarly Citroen says that the price freeze or drop on the Xsara, with the addition of ABS as standard, puts it at an advantage over the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and Renault Megane.
