FLEET business is to lead the way in doubling Subaru and Isuzu total sales during the next five years following the launch of a corporate sales network. Specialist corporate sales staff are in position in 25 dealerships around the country, targeting user-chooser lists and smaller fleets looking for 'something different'.

The 'Business to Business' centres are operational following a period of training for staff on how to cultivate the fleet and business market. Harvey France, national fleet manager, said: 'Over the last two and a half years, Subaru and Isuzu's corporate sales have increased from 20% to 40% of their total sales. We want to build on that through a combination of attractive, well priced cars such as the new Legacy saloon, rock-solid residuals and dealers dedicated to business users' requirements.'

Sales of the Subaru range of all-wheel-drive cars and sports utilities have more than doubled in the last three years, reaching 10,444 units last year. UK importer International Motors aims to boost these sales to more than 20,000 cars over the next five years through a carefully planned increase in resources to its 120-strong dealer network.
