GE Capital Fleet Services has launched a new accident management product as a result of a strategic partnership with accident and claims management specialist Accident Assistance. Birmingham-based Accident Assistance entered into the partnership with GE Capital Fleet Services earlier this year and as a result has this week launched the new 'Total' accident management product.

Tom Stephenson, director of product development and strategic marketing at GE Capital Fleet Services, said: 'We recognised a widespread need across the fleet industry for a new generation of accident management product which would save customers time and money, and deliver additional service benefits. In particular, we saw the benefits of providing all vital components of a real accident management service from a single source and for a single monthly fee per vehicle.'

Stephenson says the product is designed for GE Capital Fleet Services' customers and is to be offered on a stand-alone basis to other fleets. It offers incident management, repair management; management reporting, 'Smart Hire' comparable replacement vehicles in no-fault circumstances, 'Smart Repair' funded non-fault repairs and no-cost vehicle-related uninsured loss recovery.
