Familiar faces start a servicing 'revolution'

THREE former fleet and motor industry figuress have joined forces to launch a new company, Motoreasy, which they say will revolutionise the way drivers service and maintain their cars.

Motoreasy's managing director is David Gerrans, formerly group operations director of Daewoo. He is joined on the board by operations director Michael McInerney, previously a director of Walon and fleet manager of Avis Rent A Car, and by sales and marketing director John Highfield, ex-Camden Motors and Barclays Bank and a founding director of Car Shop.

The privately-financed company aims to offer a comprehensive package of motoring services including warranty and MOT insurance, scheduled servicing, roadside breakdown and recovery service and free helpline.
