DIXON Motors has launched a nearly-new car leasing package to provide small to medium-sized fleets with 'hassle-free low-cost motoring'. By insuring and buying in bulk, the dealership group says it can offer pre-registered and nearly-new cars at low monthly rates over fixed two or three year contracts.

The 'Fuel and Go' plan attracted 300 orders in the first five days after launch and demand has been so high from fleets that Dixon brought forward its business package from the end of the year and it is now under way. This will see some of the costs revised to allow for business insurance and extended mileage allowances: the highest annual mileage deal is currently for 18,000 miles.

Dixon is operating the package from its multi-franchise network of 49 retail outlets and claims that almost any model and trim level of car can be arranged. Jonathan Fine, sales and marketing director, said: 'There are a lot of cheap cars about and we are simply taking advantage of that with bulk buying and insurance, and passing the benefits on to the customer.'
