Mazda breaks the warranty barriers

MAZDA is offering commercial fleets the best warranty package available in the industry - five years/unlimited mileage - in a bid to kick-start a sales drive aimed at tripling the manufacturer's van sales over the next five years.

Until September 30, fleets will be offered a range of options when purchasing a commercial vehicle, including the new B-series pick-up which goes on sale in June. The choices are a five-year/unlimited mileage warranty, low rate finance, £1,000 worth of free accessories, 'state of the art' security pack or £500 privileged purchase certificate.

The promotion is being led by former corporate sales manager Trevor Houghton-Berry, who now heads Mazda's LCV division as general manager. He hopes to increase commercial sales from their current level of about 1,400 to about 4,500 in five years' time.
