VAUXHALL has clinched a deal to supply commercial rental and contract hire company TLS with 500 Movano vans worth £9million at showroom prices. The 12-month contract builds on an existing deal with the company to supply it with 1,200 vans, and Vauxhall says it marks its return to the most competitive sector of the van market.

It is understood that around half of the 500 Movano vans will replace existing vehicles on the TLS fleet, mostly Ford Transits, while the other half will continue the expansion of the TLS van fleet. TLS, a subsidiary of GE Capital, has dealt with Vauxhall for five years, buying both the Astravan and Combo, but this deal with the Movano marks its first significant Vauxhall purchase in the heavy van sector.
