Ford backs our campaign

FORD has backed the 'Clear Up Clean Up' campaign by our sister print title Fleet News with the publication of carbon dioxide emission figures for every car model sold in the UK. This information is vital for fleet managers as the Government plans to introduce a graduated vehicle excise duty and new company car tax regime based on a car's CO2 emissions.

Fleet News launched its campaign for this information to become more freely available and accessible, after the only current source of emissions data - the Vehicle Certification Agency's 'New Car Fuel Consumption Figures' - proved unclear and confusing. Ford's fleet marketing manager Nick Themistocleous confirmed that the manufacturer had responded to the 'Clear Up Clean Up' campaign, and said Ford's emissions information was now available as part of the business information contained in the Ford in Business Binder for fleet managers. To obtain a copy of the binder call 0345 232323.
