VW drives Beetle price down

THE right-hand drive Beetle model will cost £14,950 on-the-road, £1,000 less than expected. Due to demand, the firm has also increased the number of right-hand drive cars being imported from 5,000 models to 8,000 for 2000.

The Beetle comes with a 2.0-litre 115bhp engine from the Golf GTI and ABS brakes, four airbags, electric windows, air conditioning, and alloy wheels.
