SEAT targets leasing sector

SEAT is preparing for a major attack on the leasing sector before the crucial launch of the Toledo replacement next year, codenamed the S5.

Only 5% of the Spanish manufacturer's sales go into the leasing industry, which accounts for 25% of new car sales, and SEAT fleet development manager Robert Couldwell says he sees a potential to increase that figure to a quarter of all registrations, bringing SEAT up to the industry average.
