Ford 'will bid for Daewoo'

FORD has said it 'expects to submit a bid' for ailing Korean car maker Daewoo Motors, despite General Motors remaining the favourite to buy the company.

German giant DaimlerChrysler has also been linked with Daewoo, although the company would not comment on its plans.
