Auto Windscreens clinches new contracts

AUTO Windscreens has won two new contracts from the Post Office and VELO Motor Accident Management and retained BT's business. The windscreen replacement firm will provide glass replacement to the BT fleet until 2002 with an option to renew the contract for a further 12 months.

The contract is based on an estimated 16,500 call-outs per year across the fleet, covering liveried vans and company cars. Auto Windscreens' contract with the Post Office fleet is for 12 months and covers 35,000 commercial vehicles and 6,000 cars, and will cover about 4,000 windscreen replacements per year.

VELO Motor Accident Management, part of Aon's Managed Services Division, provides accident management for 110,000 vehicles which will be covered by Auto Windscreens for the next three years.
