VAUXHALL has announced a new family of aluminium ECOTEC petrol engines, ranging from 1.8 to 2.2 litres, designed to offer lower fuel consumption and minimal maintenance.
The 145bhp 2.2-litre unit makes its debut in the new Astra Coupe.
