MITSUBISHI will take the wraps off the all-new Shogun model at the Geneva Motor Show. It will go on sale in the UK in May at expected prices of between £25,000 and £40,000./

The Shogun uses a monocoque construction in place of the ladder frame chassis and will be available with a 3.5-litre gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine or a 3.2-litre direct injection diesel (DID) engine - the first time DID technology has been available on Mitsubishi's European vehicles.

Also on display will be Shogun Sport (formerly Challenger) which goes on sale on March 1 and the SUW (Smart Utility Wagon) Compact concept car which uses a 1.1-litre GDI engine combined with a system that automatically shuts off the engine while idling to cut down on emissions.
