AUTOBYTEL, the car-buying website for new and used vehicles, is helping with residual values at contract hire firm Fleetlease with a groundbreaking remarketing deal. Fleetlease expects to increase the residual value of disposal vehicles through the deal as its vehicles will be marketed direct to consumers.

Rob Whalley, managing director of Fleetlease, joined staff on the Autobytel stand to back the firm's claim of the relaxing effects of finding new ways to market. Vehicles will be on average three years old with 60,000 miles and will come with a 12-month warranty, recovery package and each will have a multipoint inspection before delivery.

'The alliance has already proved successful, with 20% of Fleetlease purchase requests for their used vehicle stock on the Autobytel website now converting into sales, equal to about 26 vehicles sold on the internet so far this year.
