ATTENDANCE at Fleet Show 2000, which ended at the NEC, Birmingham, on Thursday after a three-day run, was 7,961 - beating last year's figure of 7,843. And fast-expanding Powermarque is the first company to sign up to attend Fleet Show 2001, which will be held at a similar time next year.

Fleet Show director Chris Lester said: 'We were pleased with the quality of visitors to the show. It was also pleasing to see the Business Forums so busy with standing room only.' Huntingdon-based leasing and fleet management company Powermarque agreed to attend next year's show after enjoying a 'superb' Fleet Show 2000.

Marketing director Paul Mckay said: 'Due to our success at this year's show it is a must that we are at the show next year. The cost of attending Fleet Show 2000 will pay for itself through new business and the fact that other major leasing companies were not at the NEC is great for Powermarque.'
