McLean sets up management system

COLIN McLean, former chairman of the BVRLA, has set up a specialist management system for the automotive industry. McLean, who established the business up in partnership with Kim Brown, was managing director of Highway Vehicle Management and former chief executive of Swift Rent-A-Car.

Between them they have nearly 50 years' management experience in daily rental, contract hire, fleet management, accident management and finance. Autofocus has already attracted interest from a wide range of automotive companies. In addition to everyday rental, contract hire and fleet management services Autofocus specialises in managing projects, such as setting up new automotive products, call centres, marketing campaigns, database design and management, company and vehicle acquisitions, which would otherwise stretch companies staffing resources.
