Couldwell goes freelance

ROBERT Couldwell has left SEAT as head of business sales and marketing to set up his own fleet consultancy business. He will continue to work with SEAT on a consultancy basis, specialising in providing residual value comparisons.

Meanwhile, much of his workload with the manufacturer will be taken up by Beau Roberts, sales and marketing manager for business sales. Couldwell also plans to do consultancy work for major fleets and other manufacturers.

He said: 'It has been in the planning stages for some time that, soon after my 50th birthday, I would take less of a hands-on role with SEAT and enjoy life a little more. I am also looking forward to dealing with other companies and maintaining the good relationship I have with CAP and Glass's.'
