THE first Fleet News UK Congress will be held on November 28, 2000 at London's Olympia Conference Centre, where fleet decision makers will be able to gain a unique insight into the future shape of the UK fleet market from a host of major speakers who will address key industry issues.

Congress will be chaired by top motor industry academic Professor Garel Rhys, director of the Centre for Automotive Industry Research at Cardiff University Business School, and speakers already lined up include Christopher Macgowan, chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Stephen Timms MP.

In the new millennium, the fleet market is undergoing dramatic change through a consolidating market, vehicle pricing and government legislation - particularly in relation to company car tax, environmental matters and risk management - all issues which will be addressed at Congress.

More speakers are being approached and Congress will contain unique features including an interactive research forum and a networking/exhibition area.

Prices have yet to be announced and sponsorship is still available. For further details, contact Fleet News editor Ashley Martin (content and speakers) on 01733 467084, or Charlotte Cunningham on 01733 467038.
