INTERNET-based international recruitment company StepStone is bucking the dot.com trend by planning to expand its car fleet from 15 to 157 units by the end of the year on a sole supply 36-month full maintenance contract with CW Lease. Launched in 1996, StepStone claims to have one of the largest online employment databases on the web, with 240,000 registered subscribers, 70,000 job vacancies and services used by 12,000 companies across Europe. New vehicles for the StepStone fleet are allocated over a three-tier car policy structure from senior managers to sales representatives and are predominantly BMW and Audi.
