MEVC wins solus deal with Wrekin

MANN Egerton Vehicle Contracts has won a solus-supplier contract to provide vehicles for Wrekin Housing Trust, following a four-way competitive evaluation. The Telford-based charitable housing trust has taken delivery of 53 Ford Transit and 22 Ford Escort vans as part of an anticipated 140-vehicle fleet.

The vans, on four-year contracts with full maintenance cover, have bespoke internal storage and roof racking systems for the different maintenance repair trades. The vehicles were fitted out by QI Van Systems of Telford and supplied by Newport Ford.
