HEALTHCARE group SSL International has brought forward plans to showcase its pan-European fleet requirements and invite potential suppliers to bid for it, writes sister magazine Fleet News Europe.

The group's plans were first revealed in the September issue of Fleet News Europe, but fleet manager Steve Smith said at the time he believed it would be 'about 18 months away'. However, Smith now believes the site will be launched in March, almost a year ahead of schedule. He said it was unlikely SSL would sign a global deal with one manufacturer for its 850-vehicle fleet, although he would welcome such an approach.
