Estate version of Skoda Fabia launched

SKODA has launched an estate version of the Fabia supermini for drivers who want a small car with the practicality of a load-lugger with on-the-road prices starting at £8,400. With the spacious Fabia hatchback as its starting point, Skoda is targeting drivers of larger estates and compact MPVs.

Current engine choices range from a 68bhp 1.4MPI, a 100bhp 1.4 16v, a 75bhp 1.4 16v automatic, and two 1.9 diesels - a 68bhp SDi and a 100bhp TDi. A 2.0-litre petrol joins the range later this year.
