New 206 engine is thriftier

PEUGEOT has installed a new 1.6-litre 110bhp engine into the 206, giving improved fuel consumption and lower emissions than the engine it replaces. The 206 XSi will replace the 90bhp XS model.

It shares the clear-lens headlamps of the 206 GTi and has new 15in alloy wheels as well as interior trim upgrades. Emissions are cut from 171g/km to 161g/km and the price is up slightly from £11,495 to £11,695 on-the-road.
