NISSAN has clinched two major deals - a £2.5 million contract for 300 cars with rental company Practical Car & Van Rental and a two-year agreement with Cambridgeshire-based contract hire firm Powermarque, to supply amore than 200 vehicles. The Practical package will see the company take delivery of more than 100 vehicles, mainly Micras, over the next month.

The remainder, including Almeras, Almera Tinos and Primeras, to be delivered during the year. Powermarque will take delivery of a further 200 Almera Tinos, one of the largest fleet deals for the vehicle, which is additional to the 200 Tinos supplied last October. Nissan, through the local dealer network, will supply 50 1.8-litre S and 150 SE models which will be offered to a range of Powermarque's corporate customers and also online through its Calleva subsidiary.
