CITROEN'S aggressive pricing stance has seen the French manufacturer leap to third place in the van sales chart (3.5-tonnes and under). Speaking at the Commercial Vehicle Show, CV operations manager John Hargreaves said: 'Citroen's success is a reflection on the quality and competitive pricing of its products and the depth of its after-sales service.'

In a bid to keep the momentum going, the firm announced further special spring offers with cashback of up to £1,000 and other deals. The C15 Champ has been newly launched with a 60bhp engine, offering payloads of 600kg and 765kg. It is priced from £6,695 ex-VAT. Meanwhile, the Berlingo showed off its new sliding side doors and 2.0HDi common rail diesel powerplant with added power and refinement.

The Dispatch model on display was new to the range, with a 95bhp common rail diesel engine. The Relay range is expanded with the show debut of the higher powered short wheelbase model.
