Checkmate closes 70-car deal with Lombard

SEVENTY new cars will be delivered to Oxford-based food safety and assurance company Checkmate International (CMi) in a deal worth £1 million over the next four years with Lombard.

The first 20 cars, including Volkswagen Golfs and Passats, will be run on a four-year contract hire deal that includes servicing and maintenance. The remaining cars will be delivered at the rate of 20 a year as old vehicles on the 65-vehicle fleet are replaced.
